How can I make an initial appointment?

Is there a charge for consultations?

No. Consultations with Dr. Takhar are complimentary.

How long have you been in business?

Dr. Takhar started practicing family medicine in 1991 and cosmetic procedures in 2000. Check out some of Dr. Takhar’s accreditations, memberships, and course updates here.

Do you have technicians or estheticians doing treatments?

No. All treatments (including injections and peels) are assessed by Doctors or Nurses only.

How many locations do you have?

We are located at 1150 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, ON, N1R7J2.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

Please ensure you arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled consultation or treatment time. Your initial consultation will involve a questionnaire. Subsequent treatments will involve consent forms and aftercare review. As a medical facility, we will require your OHIP number and the name of your family physician.

Will OHIP cover my visit?

While we are prudent about obtaining a complete medical history to ensure optimal care, the services at Dr. Takhar’s Clinic are considered elective. Therefore, treatment costs are a personal expense. HOWEVER, some services such as botox for migraines and botox for hyperhidrosis may be covered. Come in for a consultation.
